| Venkat is a spiritually keen person and a serious Teacher/Practitioner of the simple and pure form of Usui Reiki. By profession Venkat is a successful investment banker, currently employed fulltime with one of the big investment banks in the management levels in the derivatives trading and risk management area.
Venkat says “ I am with Reiki all the time and I teach and share its healing powers as often as guided by the Energy”. Attunement workshops of Reiki 1st and 2nd degree levels in the traditional Usui method are arranged twice a month during weekends or as often as necessary. Venkat believes that the Master/ Teacher's level Reiki attunements are more in the nature of a blessing to be entrusted on those chosen by the Energy. He offers workshops and attunements at the Reiki Master/Teacher Levels when guided by the Reiki Energy to attune and affirm the existence of a Reiki Master in the Usui Tradition.
Hailing from an orthodox vedic brahmin family in the city of Madras in South of India, Venkat has been blessed since childhood with the opportuntiy to pursue a serious self-study of comparative religious thoughts including his own Vedic-Hindu faith, and he has been actively spreading the message of the unity of God in all religions. Venkat has also been blessed by the company and tutelage of many great saints in the past 35 years and also has been initiated in the Shaktipat Siddha Yoya tradition in a long lineage of Siddha Gurus. He is a serious practitioner of both the saadhan path of Shaktipat as also Reiki. Venkat views both Reiki and Shaktipat as useful and complementary growth tools in the path to healing oneself in the path to self-enlightenment. Venkat has also been initiated into the Sri Vidya at a young age and has been a keen, devoted worshipper of the Divine Universal Mother.
Venkat’s Reiki workshops and sessions, though conducive for spiritual growth, are non-religious and non-denominational, and are always conducted under voluntary commitments of time, money and effort by participants in a spirit of confidential sharing and growth. Many reiki students in the past have witnessed immense spiritual progress after getting attuned into Reiki in Venkat’s workshops but that is not the only focus of his sessions. The healing power of Reiki works in unique ways for each inidividual and it has been observed that each receives as is needed for their own growths in body, mind and soul levels.
