Reiki has been a very interesting and life-changing journey for me. I was attuned many years ago, but began really getting into it in the last three years. Since I became a teacher I have taught almost fifty people of various ages ranging from six to seventy. I have found that the priveledge of having such a wide spectrum of beautiful clients has helped me become very flexible and helped me formulate my own style of teaching. I spend quite a lot of time during teaching first level classes on the energetic anatomy and going in depth into the chakras. I feel this is vitally important and often missing from reiki classes. I find the practical application of energy can be misleading if one isn't empowered enough to know how and why their energy and body is in a state of imbalance. I am eager to keep teaching and am flexible with times and group sizes, although I generally do individual teachings that often are spread over two days. I am open to hearing from anyone at anytime. In addition to Reiki I am a hypnotherapist, neuro linguistic programmer and a tarot counsellor. I am also a practioner of Magnetism Energetic Therapy - which works with the natural magnetic energy of the body and psychometry, which is the psychic art of picking information off the aura. I have had training experience in rebirthing and other forms of breathwork, champissage (indian head massage) as well as art therapy (with a special emphasis on spontaneous painting and psychodrama). I have studied psychology formally, as well as completed a sixteen month private training course in transpersonal psychological counseling. My Bachelor of Fine Arts is in Photography - and thus I feel I have quite a well rounded background in creative expression as the driving force in healing. This may be of interest to any of my reiki clients as other aspects of my experience can be worked into sessions and/or classes.
