I am a Level II practitioner with 17 years' experience. I can do in-person Reiki, either in my home office or in the client's home. If the client is not in New York, I often do long-distance Reiki. I also have 17 years' experience as a Certified Social Worker, so I am equipped to work with the client, either over the phone or in person, around the emotional issues that may emerge during the Reiki process. I have post-graduate training in psychosynthesis, or the use of guided imagery in psychotherapy. I believe in attempting to "customize" the Reiki session to the client as much as possible through the use of music, their favorite prayers, or creating a certain environment. This "customizing" can also be done if the client is coming to my home office, or if they are receiving long-distance Reiki. I offer a free initial phone consultation prior to the first Reiki session, so we can get to know each other a bit and so that I have a sense of who you are and what you expect from Reiki.
