| I've been a registered nurse since 1970 and studied massage and Reiki in 1999. I am a nationally certified massage therapist and Reiki Master with a fulltime private practice, Professional Nurse Associates Mind & Body Works, in Marlton, NJ, near Cherry Hill. My areas of bodywork expertise are Swedish, pregnancy, and seated chair massage, neuromuscular therapy, foot reflexology, and Reiki. I studied Reiki with Master Teacher Karla LaVoie at the Awakening Earth Center for Natural Healing & Empowerment in Neptune, NJ. I've been both a nursing instructor and a bedside nurse. I have spoken at regional nursing seminars on the topics of non-pharmacological pain management; pain and stress management; and reiki, reflexology, and massage. | |
