| I am the Coordinator of Holistic Ministry as well as give individual Reiki sessions and teach all levels of Reiki at Dominican Center at Marywood. We offer the Reiki classes on an ongoing basis and have Karuna Reiki classes and individual sessions available, as well. There is a Reiki Support Group which meets once a month - call for more information on dates & times. I also give Reiki sessions at Dominican Center and meet each individual with an open and compassionate heart wherever they are on their life's journey. I believe that when the body is calm and relaxed, and the mind is quieted, God can work in and through one's life more fully. Reiki is always for the highest good of the client and can be used for relaxation, stress relief and spiritual centering. It helps: to keep the energy centers or chakras open and to encourage healthy energy flow; to clear blocked energy (emotions, thoughts, pain, etc.) opening the client to positive energy and release; assists in faster healing of body, mind, spirit issues; to induce images during a session that can be used for further reflection, healing, growth and insight (transformation). Reiki is complementary with Spiritual Direction and medical or psychological treatment. | |
