I recognised that I was a channel for healing many years ago but I have only been giving healing to others for around twelve years. I attended NFSH classes for two years and then went on to take my Reiki attunements. I met Dr S K Upadhyay, his wife and family, whilst attending satsangs where he spoke about his commitment to helping the poor and underprivileged overseas by taking a team of medical doctors to deprived areas. I was able to attend my first Medical Camp, with Dr Upadhyay and his team, in Russia during August 1998. It was a great success and I have taken part in Medical Camps in Russia, led by Dr Upadhyay, every year since then, having recently returned from the sixth Camp at the beginning of July, which took place in Stavropol, South Russia an area which suffered from disastrous flooding in June 2002. During the Camps in Russia I have the privilege to give healing to around 100 patients each week. I have also taken part in Medical Camps in the UK, in particular with the Blind Asian Society. Following my first Medical Camp in Russia in 1998 I was invited, by Dr Upadhyay, to take part in his annual Medical Camp in Bhopal, Madyar Pradesh, India during the Christmas of 1998. Bhopal is the town which endured the tragedy of the Union Carbide Gas Disaster in December 1984. I have returned to Bhopal every Christmas since then to take part in the Camp at the Seva Sedan Hospital in Bairaghar and have travelled to many isolated villages in India with the medical team. I have been blessed with the opportunity to take part in many Medical Camps in India and, since 1998, I have lived in India for six months of each subsequent year visiting many spiritual teachers and spending many months in an ashram in South India. I lead a spiritual life and allow everything to unfold knowing that all is the Will of God.
