| I have been a reiki practioner since 1986, and believe Reiki to be beneficial to every healing discipline. I am particularly interested in 'The Colour of Healing': This is a method which uses Reiki to empoewr the client to access and take responsibility for their own healing process. I have found Reiki to be an Intelligent Healing Agent, in the sense that it finds its own level of healing.

My first experience with Reiki was at the fiery red palms of Caroline Anson's hands. I had no idea what I was getting into, but Caroline's manner inspires confidence and trust, so I was quite willing to give it a try. My lower
back is insatiable so I certainly can't claim a cure for the back pain, but I was very much aware of the easing and relaxation. I was sufficiently impressed to begin my own Reiki training. Each time Caroline visits me I look forward
to another treatment from her wonderful, healing hands and spirit.

It is several years since I last had Reiki treatment from Caroline, but I can say with complete conviction, that the experiences I had over the Years before from her, have helped me to integrate my physical and spiritual self, to the point where I know I am a "spiritual being having a physical experience"!
I recognise that part of my Reiki experience with Caroline was visual; An experience that unfortunately I have not had since with any other Reiki practioner; that her perceptive questions to my "visions" helped me to understand their relevance in my life. This, over time, has contributed to my slowly understand myself and my human role. This may sound a bit "way
out" - I was on a strong spiritual search for meaning but I know that any falling away from my path now is purely sloth on my part!
To illustrate a "normal" occasion that was actually the first time I had Reiki from Caroline, it resulted in a permanent change and cessation of pain for me: I had damaged one of my calf muscles several years before, and when I relaxed, it frequently went into painful spasm. After a "time" during the Reiki, my calf went into spasm and I told Caroline. She asked me 'if it had a colour what colour would it be?' I saw that it was grey and told her, Then she asked me what shape would it be if it had a shape. I "saw" immediately that my calf was actually an oxygen decompression chamber and that to my amazement, concern and disbelief, there was a brown and yellow "pink panther" character lying on my blue camp stretcher in the chamber. He projected superb relaxation, smoking a meerchaum pipe with complete aplomb, his tail wound over his crossed legs. Having told Caroline this interesting fact, she asked me if I could release the pressure. I saw there was a wheel that released a porthole, undid it, and the panther and I slid into the bottom of the ocean, where the sun was filtering through making wavering diamond patterns on the sand of the ocean floor. Having relayed this "experience", I realized the pain from my calf no longer existed. It has never come back since but as you can gather from the retelling, the clarity of the experience has stayed with me. This is in fact, the first time I have written it down.
I found Caroline patient and caring. She never seemed to tire and always seemed "present" to me. I think that was why I found my Reiki experiences
so rewarding with her.

To whom it may concern:
Caroline Anson gave me a Reiki treatment in March, 2000.
It was the first time I had experienced Reiki and did not really know what to expect. Caroline explained in such a way that made this new experience both non-threatening and understandable, so I was able to get the maximum benefit out of the Reiki treatment without worrying about what was happening to me.
The Reiki treatment was both relaxing and helpful, as a long term back complaint was eased somewhat, although I do not know for sure if this was directly connected to the Reiki treatment.
I would recommend Caroline as someone who appears to be a competent alternative healing practitioner, who is able to create a relaxing atmosphere so maximum benefit can be gained from the Reiki treatment.
