For almost 30 years I have offered energy work through Reiki. Reiki workers act as catalysts for great change; true regeneration within all the human energy bodies; as any ailment or injury is potentially curable. I have seen Reiki work wonders with the physical, emotional, mental, spiritual states. However, one must be aware; if the “injured” person is unable or unwilling to release the pain or the cause and accept healing at that particular moment, it may take time to loosen the blockages causing the discomfort, on whatever level they may be . Part of my capacity as an agent of change-through-healing is to talk a person through their present state; offering suggestions on various points, because any number of things may have been, or may be contributing, if they are experiencing a state of imbalance. I have witnessed startling healings taking scant minutes & have also worked for long periods to open blockages. In either case it was good to be of service. Sensations vary; some will feel a buzzing in the skin, similar to when a body part has ‘fallen asleep’, and then begins to awaken. Others may feel warmth moving through them, or a refreshing cooling of their body in general. And the sensations may not simply limit themselves to feelings on the surface of the skin, but may take the form of emotional release of some type; laughter, melancholy, but quite often, I have noticed smiling with occasional giggling. I am in the small city of Monrovia, in the San Gabriel Valley.
