I have been a Level 2 Reiki Practitioner for over fifteen years. It was a personal quest to learn about Reiki, and found it to be such a gift I first received my Level 1 Certificate, then Level 2. I choose not to become a master level Reiki Practitioner as I had no intentions of teaching Reiki. It enriched my very logic based training and academic background.I used it soley for purposes of healing those suffering. I use it on family members, friends and those I know in pain. I have used it on cats and dogs, and the results have always been amazing. Over the last two years, I have used my gift to help ease the fear, pain and discomfort of terminal illness as a volunteer Reiki Practitioner for Care Alternatives, which has been sad, but very rewarding. I have been in a major transitional stage of my life-spirtually, career wise and personally. So, though I truly have an abundance of skill sets, actually very valuable skills, I have attempted to focus my life on my core values and beliefs in all my work, relationships and choices.
